Snail’s Pace
I ordered internet service for my apartment two weeks ago, and after a couple of follow up calls, I still have to wait until next week for them to come out and hook me up. What the heck? At my old house, the company I was with just UPS shipped the modem, and I hooked it all up myself. But, where I am living now, the IT company has to come and do it… is frustrating because I can’t do my online homework from the apartment. Have to squeeze it in during the day.
Subsequently, I’ve been in the library for 2 hours working on the same darned chemistry problem, because I was determined not to leave until I completed the “unit”. You only get one try, if you miss it then you have to back out and start the whole line-up of questions again. oh what fun! not really.
Anyway, I’m finished. Time to go get the munchkins. Maybe someday I can get back to posting regularly.
