Out With Josie at Toddler Tuesday
we have a wildlife center here in this southern city, located on a marsh island, under the canopy of preserved oak and pine forest. There are trails that take you
through the woods to animal displays of species that are local to Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. Wolves, deer, redfox, alligators, bobcats, Florida panthers, sandhill cranes, pelicans, several species of hawk, owl, a few bald eagles, and also some farm animals.
They have a “Toddler Tuesday”, EVERY WEEK! and yes, it has taken me until NOW to actually go…. go, join the other granola-eating organic-milk drinking, volvo-driving maclaren-pushing moms….(yeah yeah, all is true about me except I drive a honda)…
Really, I just wanted an opportunity to do some Josie and mommy time. We had fun together. She was a great little trooper and was especially fond of the goofy turkeys.

Looks like a ton of fun.
HEY!!! Thanks for the link to JonsRoom over there. So awesome!

I have as much fun at those types of places as out little ones. We have a small reptile zoo open year round near us and we are frequent visitors. The oldest is the only one that I have talked into petting the hissing cockroaches, but I still have hope in persuading the others.
