Books x 3
Miss Olivia sat with me on the sofa in my office this evening and allowed me to read 3 books to her! 3! She sat sweetly next to me, I had to deflect her grabs at my neck a few times, but she stayed there and smiled and watched my face while I read to her, and she even had her left index finger pointed out on occasion while I read. Could it be that her old instincts of pointing to pictures in the books is re-emerging? I am so excited for her. and, naturally, the books I chose were those with vibrant pics and rhythm. We read “Over in the Meadow”, “Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See?” by Carle, and “Green Eggs and Ham”… Way to go Olivia!
