My little baby Josephine is turning into a scavenger. No drawers or cabinets are safe from her adventurous little hands. She knows what she wants, and she goes after it. Watch out, Jackson! Baby sister is catching up!

I stumbled upon your blog yesterday and read a lot of it in my spare time. It’s refreshing to me because I also am a recently (2 years ago) single mom of three kids… I have all boys, ages seven, a soon to be eight year old and one soon to be 11 year old. Gees that makes me feel old! My middle son is also autistic. He’s PDD-NOS. He’s able to speak and attends “normal” classes at school but he has some problems in social situations, he’s very distant, and he’s so sensitive. He is the sweetest boy! His teachers just go on and on about how sweet and kind he is.
I really just want to thank you for your blog. I have many friends, most of whom don’t have children, and the few that do don’t have autistic children.
I also wanted to comment on the post about abusive men…my X husband fit into that mold perfectly! It is amazing! I felt so alone for a long time, thinking that I was the only one going through it. There’s definitely strength in numbers.
You’re a strong beautiful woman with beautiful children. An inspiration to many around you I’m sure. I don’t know you…but I want to tell you that I’m proud of you.
With love,
Melanie
