This bird and his mate live in my front yard. I noticed him once again yesterday afternoon when I arrived at home, he was standing on the roof over the garage “barking” at me. He dive bombs at the cat, and swoops from bush to tree to roof when I stand out on the front porch…. I think he gets the most mad at the cat. This is not the first year that this couple has “taken over”…. I can recall last year they did the same thing. I can only assume that they’re nesting. I’d love to know what they are. I need a darn bird guide…hmmm….
They were out this morning when I rolled the trash out. So, I sneaked outside and snapped some quick photos. This guy is so bold that he let me get quite close. Convenient, since i don’t have a telephoto.
