uh…
Well, I think the math class will be okay. The prof. is very nice, he has alot of open office hours, and from the looks, the subject material is stuff I learned in h.s. However, that was an eon ago. So, hopefully my little neurons will rev up over the weekend, and start remembering.
As for Anat. and Physiology I have a different prof. this semester. The professor I had last semester was a “tough cookie”. She is probably in her late 60’s or even early 70’s and has definitely been teaching for a loooong time. She is very thorough, and very detailed in her lectures and tests. After every lecture she would preach, “don’t just read the text, study it, and make it your own, because you will be tested on this stuff.” and this of course was in her sweet little southern voice.
So, I went to the first lecture yesterday with the new professor (new to me), and he said, “read the text, but just use it as a tool to understand what I lecture, because most of what will be on your tests will be from my lectures in class.” Funny thing is, I think I am disappointed. I really think I enjoyed the Challenge of Dr. Wynn’s class last semester. I do have her for Lab. When I got home yesterday I went online to see if Dr. Wynn had an open lecture, and to my dismay she is not lecturing this semester.
Gosh, I hope I don’t discover that my new prof. is difficult after all, and end up sticking my foot in my mouth.
